WHEREAUC Tahrir Square – .advance their careers at their own pace.
Open to the public, the launch event will feature a full day of career-building activities. Thirty-three hands-on workshops led by industry practitioners will run in three rounds across topics including communication skills, personal branding, negotiation, financial literacy, marketing, leadership, and recruitment. A Microcredentials Orientation will walk attendees through how the Career Accelerator system works and where they fit within it. A live Assessment and Advising Center will allow visitors to take a real skills assessment and sit with an advisor to map their next steps. Career stations will offer professional CV reviews, LinkedIn profile optimization, and live mock-interview practice.
The new model represents a significant shift in how professional education is delivered in Egypt and the region, covering 17 career
tracks and more than 200 credentials recognized by employers and internationally accredited under the ANSI/IACET standard, one of the most respected global benchmarks for continuing education quality.
Beyond flexibility, the new model is designed to allow learners to earn credentials by demonstrating a skill through real, workplace-relevant tasks, not by attendance. Learners who complete a credential receive a verified digital badge and a Certificate of Competency that they can add to their CV or professional profile.
The Career Accelerator also introduces the Career Clinic, a personalized assessment and advising service that helps every learner understand where they currently stand, which credentials they need, and in what order to pursue them, based on their specific career goals and the demands of the Egyptian and regional job market.
“
The world of work is being reimagined. Careers are no longer linear paths; they are crafted piece by piece, shaped by each individual’s ambition,” said Mahmoud Allam, dean of SCE. Allam added that educators have a responsibility to remain responsive to the evolving market needs and to empower learners to build their journeys on their own terms. “The Career Accelerator embodies that freedom. We are not only preparing learners for the future of work, but we are also equipping the very people who will define and create it,” Allam noted.
