The British University in Egypt Signs Landmark Agreement with the University of Wolverhampton to Advance Global Academic Collaboration

CAIRO, EGYPT – December 10, 2025 – The British University in Egypt, the first university in Egypt and North Africa accredited by the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Wolverhampton to strengthen academic collaboration and research initiatives

The agreement enables student and staff mobility, collaborative research, industrial projects, professional development, and summer school programs, promoting cultural understanding and internationalisation.

Professor Mohamed Loutfi MBE, President of BUE, stated:”Partnering with the University of Wolverhampton advances our vision for deeper internationalisation. It unlocks a modern, globally engaged educational future for our students and faculty.”

Professor Ebrahim Adia, Vice-Chancellor of Wolverhampton, said:”Collaboration on research, best practices exchange, and innovative programs will greatly benefit students and wider communities we serve.”
