						French archaeological mission at Taposiris Magna, located 45 km west of Alexandria, has uncovered a finely crafted marble head of a statue depicting an elderly man from the Ptolemaic Period.
The discovery was made among the ruins of a building believed to have held political significance during the 7th century AD.
