Prof. El-Minshawy reviews the Performance Report of the Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital at Assiut University and its reception of (64163) cases on treatment days and the admission of (10242) cases during 2024
– Receiving (13312) cases in outpatient clinics, examining them and providing medical services and various examinations. – Registering (18493) cases at state expense, and performing (1819) surgeries.
– The opening of the Psychological Support Clinic for tumor patients (muscle stiffness clinic) to provide all aspects of support and psychological and therapeutic care for tumor patients.
– The opening of the Hospital’s Grand Conference Hall at a total cost of (one million and 600 thousand) pounds.
– Renovation and development of (4) lecture halls with the latest educational technologies for teaching and training in psychiatry, neurology, and neurosurgery.
– Upgrading the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for neurosurgery patients, increasing the number of beds to seven. – Enhancing the Stroke Unit and ICU, updating medical equipment, and increasing the number of beds to eight.
