The Egyptian Museum In Tahrir Opens Peranent Exhibition Of Wall Paintings From King Amenhotep Iii’s Palac

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities and the Responsible of the Affairs at the German embassy in Cairo inaugurated at The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, a new permanent exhibition showcasing a remarkable collection of wall paintings discovered in King Amenhotep III’s palace at Malqata, west of Luxor, since the late 19th century.
This exhibition is part of the museum’s ongoing development project, designed to present its treasures according to the latest international museological standards and to reinforce its role as a prominent cultural beacon locally and globally.
