A German delegation visits the Museum of Egyptian Civilization
Today, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat welcomed a high-level German economic delegation
included the German minister of state, sector manager for the Office of the Presidency, representatives of major German companies
a number of economic businessmen, and delegates from the German Embassy in Cairo
this visit came on the margins of their current existence as part of the official delegation to visit the President of the Republic of Germany in Egypt
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, the Executive Chairman of the museum authority, welcomed the delegation
and Mrs.Fayrouz Fekry, who is the Executive Vice President of the museum’s authority, management, and operation
they welcomed the members of the delegation and provided them with an overview of the unique location of the museum
It’s history, the cultural role, and the community, and the importance of the museum
which became the main pillar to promoting the prestigious Egyptian civilization
and strengthening Egypt’s position as a leading world-class tourism destination
Projecting a positive image for the world and supporting the national economy through tourism development
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim made sure to gift members of the delegation a catalog of royal mummies, which is an icon of the museum’s exhibits
The delegation toured inside the different halls of the museum
they knew through the collectibles of the museum that feature richness and diversity histor
that tell a story of the Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times until the modern era
In the tour, members of the delegation expressed their impressed royal mummies
and the method of upscale presentation for it, and the artifacts displayed that express aspects of the Egyptian civilization from various historical eras
and they expressed admiration for the location of the wonderful museum, which is in the middle of many historical landmarks, civilizational, and archaeological
